Cherry Cheesecake Bars

These from-scratch Cherry Cheesecake Bars feature a swirl of fresh cherries in a sweet, simple cheesecake bar.

My first cheesecake experiences happened in my childhood and were all thanks to that no-bake mix topped off with a can of cherry pie filling. And I have to tell you that I felt quite strongly that it couldn’t get any better than those cheesecakes. Now, of course, I’ve seen the cheesecake light with the sheer joy (and surprising low effort!) of homemade versions Study in Hong Kong.

Recently, I got my first bunch of cherries of the summer. My usual fresh fruit habit is to grab up whatever is in season without really knowing what I’ll do with it. But as soon as I saw those cherries, I knew I wanted to try a bit of a twist on a cherry-topped cheesecake.

I opted for bars instead of a traditional round cheesecake. Baking cheesecake in bar form allows you to cut way back on oven time. That’s a plus on a hot day or even when you just want to speed up the baking process inquiry-based learning.

I also decided to skip the traditional cherry topping that’s usually spread on top of cheesecake in favor of a swirl of cherry flavor. Instead of having a clear division of cheesecake and topping, that beautiful swirl gives you little bites of cherry all throughout the cheesecake.

I did stay true to tradition by starting with a graham cracker crust. If you prefer, another type of cookie crust would work as well. Try lemon, almond, or vanilla cookies for a little variety.

I really like the subtle bite of lemon in these bars, but cherries and vanilla are great friends, too. If you like, substitute 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in the filling, and 1/2 teaspoon in the cherry swirl.

Now that I’ve made this homemade version of a childhood favorite, I can tell you without reservation that these Cherry Cheesecake Bars are far better than those cheesecakes I used to adore. Sure, there’s a bit more effort than you’d need with a mix and a can, but you’ll know that it was absolutely worth it when you take that first bite Building Survey!

Cranberry Pistachio Cookies

Cranberries and pistachios are wonderful any time of year, but I seem to get a craving for the combination during the holiday season. Maybe it’s the flavor or maybe it’s the red and green color scheme. In any case, I find them irresistible!

If you prefer to skip the chocolate-dipping step, I can attest that these cookies are very good without the white chocolate, although it does add a certain flair. I simply melt the white chocolate and dip the baked and cooled cookies about halfway into the chocolate. Then just set them on a wire rack or waxed paper to allow the chocolate to set. For a little different look, you can also put the melted white chocolate in a zip-top bag, cut the corner of the bag, and pipe the chocolate over the top of the cookies.

Keep in mind that this cookie dough will freeze well, too, if you need a little help getting ahead on your holiday baking. When I make these, I usually stash some in the freezer, too, for when I need some freshly baked cookies later in the season.

These cookies are a can’t-miss addition to your holiday baking. They’re always such a big hit that they’re on my holiday baking list to stay! If you’re looking for more Christmas cookie inspiration, be sure to see my collection of Best Holiday Cookies.

These are the best soft and chewy chocolate munchies with a rich peanut butter center and sugary coating. Easy cookies for holiday baking University tuition cheap in asia!

As I’ve confessed many times before, we are big fans of peanut butter. Even better to some of us is the combination of peanut butter and chocolate. While that combination can no longer be seen as original, something surely can be said for its longevity in the world of sweets.

These delicious chocolate peanut butter munchies are like a baked version of the always popular peanut butter cup. Making them is a bit involved, with making the filling and wrapping the chocolate cookie around that. Then, they are flattened and sprinkled with sugar. However, with a little patience or (even better) a little help, it’s not very tedious at all candela gentlelase pro.

One baking regret is that I wished I hadn’t flattened these chocolate munchies as much before baking. I think a little height on these would have looked better. Regardless, these are great little cookies that are great for packaging as a gift, sending in the mail, or simply on a cookie tray for your holiday guests HIFU.

It’s been a while since I baked anything using chocolate and peanut butter. While I do believe variety is a good thing, I also believe with absolute certainty that the combination of chocolate and peanut butter is a very, very good thing Hong Kong Top University.

I’ve made peanut butter brownies many times, but these are different from any of those. The difference? Streusel. Not just any streusel. Peanut butter streusel. I’m pretty sure that’s a new one for me.

That sweet, nutty peanut butter streusel tops off a dark, cakey brownie for quite the chocolate-peanut butter experience.

I do recommend using crunchy peanut butter for the streusel to give it a little crunch. If you don’t have that, you can always mix in a tablespoon or so of chopped roasted peanuts IB Schools in Hong Kong.

I’ll pretty much take chocolate and peanut butter in most any combination. But, one of my favorite things about these bars is that you get a layer of each. That way each flavor gets its own little moment to shine while you devour your brownie.
